About the Event
This is a 4-hour Accuracy-Based Carbine Open Range Day (ORD) designed to refine fundamental and applied carbine marksmanship in a structured, performance-driven environment.
The focus of this ORD is precision, consistency, and accountability with the carbine platform. Shooters will work through a series of drills emphasizing accurate shot placement at close ranges while engaging varied target arrays and sizes at varying distances from the 7-yard line to the 25-yard line. Training will include controlled shots on hostage type situations at varying distances with short range movement and multiple threats at close ranges under 25-yards.
Participants will reinforce proper carbine handling, reload techniques, and multi-target engagement while prioritizing accuracy at manageable speeds. This event is ideal for shooters looking to validate and improve their carbine fundamentals, tighten groups under pressure, and build confidence through measurable performance standards.
Attendees need a semi-automatic carbine, sling, optic or LPVO, 3 or more magazines, magazine pouch, belt, associated gear, eye and ear protection and 150 rounds of ammo.
All attendees MUST acknowledge the Release of Liability Waiver and Safety Brief prior to registering and paying.
All attendees MUST RSVP and prepay by using the event tool.
